Gadgets and Games come alive at the IT SHOW 2015
Singapore, 16 March 2015 – IT SHOW, Singapore’s largest IT, Digital, Mobile and Consumer Electronics Exhibition, will be taking place from Thursday to Sunday, 19-22 March, 12.00 to 9.00 pm daily at Suntec Singapore, Levels 3,4 and 6,
Into its 14th year, IT SHOW is organised by Exhibits Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sphere Exhibits. Sphere Exhibits is the events and exhibition subsidiary of SPH.
This year’s edition of the IT SHOW offers many new and exciting show highlights and attractions. These include:
For the first time at IT SHOW, showgoers can trade in their old or faulty laptops, tablets and smartphones for cash vouchers to spend at the show. All IT Show cash vouchers come in denominations of $10 and are accepted by most major brands and exhibitors, except M1, Singnet, ViewQwest, banks, credit card and insurance companies etc. Please refer to itshow.sg/tradein for terms and conditions as well as full list of participating booths.
‘AGE OF GAMING’ (AOG) PAVILION
The Age of Gaming (AOG) pavilion located on Level 4 promises to offer a variety of serious games and novelty games that will appeal to all ages.
There is a specially designed obstacle course known as “The Gauntlet” featuring popular game titles and is open to all IT SHOW visitors. Participants are given a time limit to complete the course. At the end of the first three days, the male and female participants with the highest scores will be rewarded with PlayStation collectibles and a chance to battle it out on the final day for the Grand Champion prize of a Sony PlayStationTM 4. Anyone who completes the Guantlet will receive a lucky draw chance to win from more than 20 gaming items such as keyboards, gaming headsets and a PlayStation Vita.
The “Marketplace” section offers visitors the opportunity to get their hands on show bags with limited-edition items and great bargains on gaming-related merchandise from leading brands such as Asus, Logitech, MSI, Minecraft, Roccat, Razer, Steel Series and Prolink.
The showpiece of AOG at IT SHOW 2015 is the Alpha Cup, which is the first of three competitions leading to the grand championship or Omega Cup to be held in September later this year. There are three games being played: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; DOTA 2; and Street Fighter 4 ultra. More than 200 local cyber athletes, including well-known top teams will compete for the championship title, a confirmed spot in the regional championship Omega Cup plus $8,000 worth of cash and prizes. IT SHOW visitors will be able to enjoy watching the thrills and spills of the tournament live for the first time in Singapore on 20, 21 and 22 March at AOG. In addition, an estimated 10,000 viewers are expected to watch the live streaming of this event via Twitch TV.
AOG is the brainchild of local gaming event company Colosseum Amusement and it aims to use AOG to bring together the gaming community, provide support for local gaming talents and create an opportunity for greater social interaction between members.
AUCTION TIME, BRAND TIME, FASHION TIME
The Stage area located at level 4 is the heart of IT SHOW and the centre of promotional activities reaching out to visitors.
Another new segment at this year’s IT SHOW, visitors who spend a minimum of $100 can try their luck at the Stage on level 4 to bid for their favourite gadget. The winners will get to buy at the bid price. To participate, visitors will need to redeem an auction bidding ticket from the Organiser’s Office on level 6. Seats are limited daily, so be sure to come early.The Auction will take place at 5.00pm daily and items to be auctioned off include a Samsung GALAXY Note Edge 4G+, Parrot MiniDrone Rolling Spider, Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and much more.
Brand Time offers participating exhibitors the opportunity to present and engage visitors with their latest gadgets and products. Throughout the four days of IT SHOW, visitors can stand to win prizes in easy-to-win stage games and activities. Participating exhibitors include Hewlett Packard, Casio, MyRepublic, Asus, Lenovo and Dell.
Continuing the success of the Tech Fashion Show during Comex 2014, Fashion Time at IT SHOW 2015 will once again showcase the latest gadgets from various brands, including mobile and wearable technology. The five IT SHOW Booth babes as selected by our Facebook page fans will join other booth babes from Asus, Lenovo, Dell, Casio and Armageddon on the Stage. Lenovo has specially flown in two models from Taiwan to participate. The fashion show will take place at 2.00pm and 6.30pm daily at the Stage on level 4.

The Tech Showcase is the highly-anticipated section of IT Show 2015 where the latest and most talked-about technology will be on show for the public to try out. Some highlights include:
